I joined the KFUPM in August 2004. My professional time and interests are divided across counseling, teaching, conducting research, and serving the department and university. Over the years, I have taught many courses, including Clinical Psychology, Counseling & Advising, Special Education, Social psychology, Mental Health, Psychometry, Psycho-therapy, Introduction to Psychology, Educational Psychology, Statistics, Study Skills and Cross-Cultural Psychology.
I also supervised thirteen Master and Doctorate’s thesis in psychology in Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
In the mean while, I provided trainings and short courses for KFUPM students and outside audience, including: recent trends for time management, creative thinking, stress and coping strategies, professional pressure and how to deal with it, how to pass a personal interview? communication skills, personal skills, self-development skills, time management, the ethics of the profession.
Doctor of Clinical Psychology from Ain Shams University in partnership with the Department of Psychology ,Institute of Psychiatry, University of London in 1988 (First Class Honors).
