Dr. Abdulwahab Al-Gahtani is a faculty of management in the Management and Marketing Department in Business School at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM). He earned his bachelor of science in Business Administration for the University of LaVerne in the United States. He received his MBA in Marketing Management from the California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) in the United States. He earned his PhD in Management (Major: Strategic Management, Minor: Human Resources Management) from the University of North Texas in the United States. He published many research papers in international journals. He received many awards and recognition in the United States and Saudi Arabia such as the Cultural Award from the Mayor of Denton in Texas, USA for his contribution in the International Day at the University of North Texas and the Saudi Cultural Mission Award in the United States on the excellent management of the Saudi Student Club. He received the Fulbright Scholarship in 1992. He joined a team of researchers at University of North Texas to investigate the collective bargaining at Honeywell International plant in Mexico. He also joined a team of researchers at California State University, San Bernardino to build the marketing strategy for Bell Helicopter. He worked on a marketing strategy project for Aware Development Real Estate company in Riverside, California. He headed a team of researchers from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in a project to investigate the impact of the global economic crisis on the Saudi economy in 2010. He has written over 3000 newspaper articles in many Saudi and Arab newspapers. He also appeared in many specialized TV programs about local and global economic and strategic issues.
