KFUPM Business School stands as the Kingdom’s sole double crowned institution holding both AACSB and AMBA accreditations. It is the first AACSB accredited business school in Saudi Arabia and one of the earliest in the MENA region to achieve such global recognition. KBS also fully satisfies all national- NCAAA standards across its programs.
AACSB International Accreditation
AACSB International accreditation is recognized globally as the gold standard in business education, held by only 6% of business schools worldwide. Since earning our initial accreditation in 2003, KBS has been continuously reaffirmed in 2013, 2018, and 2023, underscoring our mission driven strategy and commitment to academic rigor, impactful scholarship, and forward thinking program design.
AMBA International Accreditation
KFUPM Business School is the only business school in the Kingdom accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA), a leading global authority in postgraduate business education.
AMBA accreditation places our flagship programs MBA and EMBA among the top 2% of MBA programs globally, reflecting their strong design, relevance, and international competitiveness.
NCAAA Institutional Accreditation
KBS also fulfills the accreditation requirements from the National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessment (NCAAA), confirming compliance with national standards of educational quality and institutional excellence.
Dr. Ahmed Ali joined the Department of Management and Marketing as an Assistant Professor. He earned a PhD in Organizational Behavior from the School of Management at the University of Science and Technology of China, where he had also been part of the International Faculty before joining KFUPM Business School. His research focuses on how cognitive and social attributes of individuals within organizations (e.g., employees, supervisors, co-workers) and beyond (e.g., entrepreneurs, customers, investors, students) determine their performances (e.g., decision making, work performance, academic performance, enterprise performance). In research, Dr. Ahmed follows both field surveys as well as experimental designs. His research has been published in several well-reputed peer-reviewed journals including Technology Analysis & Strategic Management, Journal of Consumer Behaviour, Computers in Human Behavior, Personnel Review, Asian Journal of Social Psychology, Telematics and Informatics, Applied Economics Letters. He has also been a member of the Editorial Board of Journal of Career Development (2018-present). Moreover, He actively serves as a reviewer for leading management journals including Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Human Relations, Human Resource Management. Outside of work, he enjoys visiting ancient and cultural heritage sites.
