Hadi Faqihi received his Ph.D. in Strategic Management from Michigan State University. His dissertation focused on the intersection of corporate governance and knowledge, examining the influence of domain-expert directors on how high technology firms add new capabilities in response to internal knowledge failures and external technology threats. Hadi also holds an MBA in Marketing and Business Analytics from the University of Notre Dame and a BS in Marketing from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. He is interested in studying how organizations develop superior knowledge and learning capabilities to deal with increasing technology and market complexities. He has presented his work at the Academy of Management (AOM) Annual Conference and the Strategic Management Society (SMS) Annual Conference. He is also interested in applying data science tools to enhance research rigor and reproducibility. Hadi taught senior-level undergraduate management courses at Michigan State University, for which he received excellent teaching ratings.
