Dr. Mansoor Ahmad joined KFUPM Business School in Fall 2021. Dr. Ahmad has PhD in Business Administration from Alliance Manchester Business School, University of Manchester, UK. He also has a Master’s in Human Resource Management from the University of Leeds, UK. His PhD thesis examined the human resource management (HRM) practices of indigenous and multinational corporation subsidiaries in Pakistan. The research addressed an overlooked country as well as downplayed factors to explain the use of HRM policies in different types of workplaces in Pakistan. He has published in well-reputed journals such as European Management Review, International Journal of Manpower, Employee Relations, European Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology, Knowledge Management Research, and Practice. Over 20 years of his teaching career he has taught several management subjects to undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD students. Four of his students have successfully completed their doctoral requirements and have been awarded a PhD in management.
