Dr Nawaz is an Associate Professor in the Accounting and Finance Department at KFUPM. Dr Nawaz has developed an international profile by living and working on three different continents over the past two decades. His international career spans over two decades in the UK Higher Education and the corporate sector. Dr Nawaz’s research involves interpretive and positivist dimensions in the fields of Finance, Economics, Accounting, Strategic Management, and Higher Edication (Pedagogical Research) and he has produced top-notch research in the said areas with publications featuring in the Financial Times’s top50 journals. Dr Nawaz holds a PhD in Accountancy & Finance from Heriot-Watt University Edinburgh. Besides, he is the Senior Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy (Advance HE). On the citizenship front, Dr Nawaz serves as a Board of Director (Independent Non-Executive) on Plymouth Community Homes, South-West England.
