Prof Montibeller is a Visiting Professor of Operations Management at KFUPM Business School and a Professor of Management Science at Loughborough Business School (UK). He is an expert in decision and risk analysis with extensive experience in working with interdisciplinary teams and international researchers. His main research interests are behavioral decision analysis, strategic resource allocation for security and health systems, facilitated decision modelling for strategic and operations decisions, health operations, and health decision analysis.
Prof Montibeller has published widely in decision sciences journals and has published three books. The quality of his research has been recognised by the best publication awards granted by the Society for Risk Analysis, INFORMS, and the International Society on Multi-Criteria Decision Making. The scientific quality and impact of his applied research projects have been recognised by the INFORMS Decision Analysis Society Practice and the EURO Excellence in Practice Awards.
