Prof. Zafar has been a student, teacher, scholar, and academic leader for over 45 years. His global experience has taken him from the snowcapped towers of academic institutions across the United States to the desert cities of the Arabian Peninsula and to remote reaches of Africa and the Asia-Pacific islands in pursuit of global research, developing global networks and learning better ways of doing business globally.
Zafar’s 33 years full-time academic experience has been accumulated at Texas A&M University at Dallas (Texas, USA), Fort Hays State University (Kansas, USA), Sacred Heart University (Connecticut, USA), Minot State University (North Dakota, USA), and the State University of New York at Fredonia (New York, USA) and many other global institutions across the world including Saudi Arabia.
Zafar has published over 200 scholarly papers in Scopus, and Web of Science (ISI) indexed journals. He has a Google Scholar Citation Index of over 8,500, an “h-index of 44”, and “i-10 index of 114” to his credit. He serves as the President/CEO, US based Academy for Global Business Advancement (http://agba.us/), Editor-in-Chief, Switzerland based and Scopus and Web of Science (ISI) indexed “Journal for International Business and Entrepreneurship Development” (https://www.inderscience.com/jhome.php?jcode=jibed) as Q-2, and Editor-in-Chief, Switzerland based and Scopus indexed “Journal for Global Business Advancement” (https://www.inderscience.com/jhome.php?jcode=jgba) as Q-3.
Zafar has supervised and graduated over 50 doctoral students with Ph.Ds., at different universities across the world. He is a Global Consultant for numerous Multinationals (MNCs) operating globally, serves as an advisor to many organizations across the world, and sits on the Corporate Boards of many firms operating globally. Zafar is also the Owner, President/CEO of his family’s 150 years old global firm (Taj Global Exporters Co. (Pvt. Ltd. New Delhi, India) operating world-wide.
