Dr. Fahad Albylwi

Biography

Dr. Fahad Albylwi is an Assistant Professor of Public and International Affairs in the Department of Global Studies, at KFUPM Business School, KFUPM. He received his Ph.D. in Public and International Affairs from the University of Pittsburgh in 2024. His PhD dissertation analyzed Saudi’s foreign aid and its alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). He conducted fieldwork in several African and Asian countries to gather firsthand data and insights for his study.

His research interests focus on foreign policy, international development, humanitarian aid, and development assistance. In 2018, he served as a Teaching Assistant at Penn State University’s School of International Affairs. At KFUPM, he teaches courses on International Relations theories and Globalization.
