Dr. Ahmad Arslan is currently working as a Professor at the Department of Management and Marketing, Business School, King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, Saudi Arabia. He has earlier worked at different universities in Finland and the UK. Dr Arslan holds Fellowships of Higher Education Academy of the UK (FHEA) and Commercial Education Society Australia (FCES). He has significant experience of teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels as well as of PhD supervision. Dr Arslan has also been involved in national level doctoral education in business administration (international business) planning and management in the capacity of being a board member of Finnish Graduate School of International Business (FIGSIB). Moreover, he has been involved in degree programs quality evaluation and accreditation as an external (international) evaluator.
Dr Arslan has multidisciplinary research interests within large field of management and his earlier research has been published in prestigious academic journals including British Journal of Management, European Management Journal, Human Resource Management (US), Human Resource Management Review, International Business Review, International Marketing Review, Journal of Business Research, Journal of International Management, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Knowledge Management, Journal of Managerial Psychology, Journal of Product Innovation Management, Management International Review, Public Management Review, Supply Chain Management, Technovation, Technological Forecasting and Social Change and The International Journal of Human Resource Management, among others. He has received several academic awards over the years including Best Reviewer award for 2024 (British Journal of Management), and several Emerald literati awards for both reviewing as well as publishing. Finally, he has been active in editorial roles including being Senior Editor, Associate Editor, Guest Editor and Editorial Board Member of different well-ranked academic journals.
