Dr. Saleh Alwahaishi

Biography

Dr. Saleh Alwahaishi is an IBM certified data science and cybersecurity practitioner and an Information Systems faculty member at the Business School of King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM). He is a recipient of the two KFUPM prestigious distinction awards of Excellence in Teaching and Academic Advising. He received his Ph.D. in Informatics from Technical University of Ostrava, and two master’s degrees in Computer Science and in Extension Education from New Mexico State University.

He teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in data science programming, system analysis and design, database design and management, project management, and Information Systems principles. Dr Alwahaishi’s research interests are primarily in the areas of ITC adoption and use, educational planning and administration, privacy and culture, and E-commerce. He has edited many book chapters and has published several papers in peer reviewed international journals and conferences, and serving as editorial board member and referee for reputed international peer-reviewed journals.
