Students can now mix their academic studies with a professional qualification from ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants).. Students in the BSc program in Accounting at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals(KFUPM), which is rated as number one in the Arab world, can claim up to six exemptions for some of the ACCA Qualification’s Fundamental level exam papers. Students who complete the BSC in accounting will be exempt from having to sit ACCA’s F1-3 exam papers on completion, and F5, F7 and F8 papers dependent on certain modules of the degree being completed. This will give them a quicker route to gaining the prestigious ACCA professional qualification.
