Working with professional associations such as the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) to provide students with tools for professional certifications. This has led to annually granting 10 scholarships by the IMA for preparing and taking the Certified Management Accountant professional certification exam. This has also led to the ACCA officially recognizing the school’s undergraduate Accounting degree and granting 8 exemptions for ACCA professional exams.
Working with SAP has also resulted in offering two extensive annual workshops, one for accounting/finance students and the other for MIS/management students, to prepare them for professional certifications offered by SAP. Since launching this collaboration, over 70 students have gone through the program with some receiving a SAP certification.
