DR. HAYFAA TLAISS

Biography

Dr. Hayfaa Tlaiss joined King Fahd University for Petroleum and Minerals Business School (KBS) as a Visiting Professor in the Department of Management and Marketing. In addition to a BBA and an MBA, she has a PhD from University of Manchester, UK and a Diploma of University Teaching from University of New Brunswick, Canada. Prior to joining KBS, Dr. Tlaiss held academic posts at the University of Windsor and the University of New Brunswick in Canada as well as Alfaisal University in Saudi Arabia. She is an experienced educator and her teaching excellence has been recognized by several teaching awards including “Woman Role Model Award” from the Arabian Society for Human Resource Management. As a nationally and internationally recognized scholar, Dr. Tlaiss was named to “Stanford University’s World Top 2% Scientists’ List” for research impact, was a recipient of “Prince Faisal Bin Fahad Global Prize for Sport Research” from Ministry of Sport, Saudi Arabia, and won several research awards including the Literati Network Awards for Excellence. Her scholarly work has been published in Financial Times Top 50 journals and other top-tier journals.
