Dr. Samirah Saleh Almutairi

Biography

Dr. Samirah Amutairi is an accomplished professional in the field of accounting, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at KFUPM. With a strong educational background, she holds an MBA with a minor in Forensic Accounting from Texas A&M University, as well as a PhD in Accounting from Durham University.

Dr. Amutairi completed her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting at King Abdulaziz University. In addition to her academic achievements, Dr. Amutairi has obtained the prestigious designation of Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), further enhancing her expertise in fraud examination and prevention. She actively contributes to the professional community as a board member of various private and public entities. Furthermore, Dr. Amutairi serves as an advisor for the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants (SOCPA).

Outside of academia, Dr. Amutairi excels as a financial consultant and has co-founded multiple successful businesses. Her diverse range of experiences and roles demonstrates her strong commitment to advancing the field of accounting and utilizing her knowledge to make meaningful contributions to both academia and industry. Dr. Samirah Amutairi’s dedication to her profession, extensive qualifications, and notable achievements make her a respected figure in the accounting community, as she continues to make valuable contributions to the field through her research, teaching, and advisory roles.
