Taha Nasir has been with KFUPM Business School for 6 years. Prior to joining KBS, he was an entrepreneur and a consultant in Malaysia working with various industries including petroleum, mining & minerals, retail and agriculture. He has constantly been involved with his Alma mater for research and worked on projects related to human capital development, corporate governance and information systems. In 2014, he won an award for the Best ICT Invention of the year by the Ministry of Science & Technology Malaysia, for his work on creating a governance scoring system with University Technology PETRONAS.
Currently, he is a lecturer at KBS and has been working alongside the Dean in strategic plans of the school. He co-teaches the MBA Business Practicum capstone course where he is responsible for the client network. He is also the Assistant Director of the Business Engagement Office which is responsible in connecting industry with academia. As a passion, he also mentors students and entrepreneurs around the GCC.
