Dr. Saleh Alwahaishi is a senior Information Systems faculty member at the Business School of King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM), with expertise in business analytics, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity, supported by industry certifications from IBM. He brings over two decades of academic and professional experience spanning teaching, research, and industry engagement.
His research focuses on the application of artificial intelligence in healthcare and education, particularly in areas such as predictive analytics, learning analytics, and data-driven decision-making. He also investigates technology adoption, digital transformation, data privacy, and social media behavior, examining how emerging technologies shape organizational and societal outcomes.
Dr. Alwahaishi has published extensively in peer-reviewed international journals and conferences and has led several funded research projects. He teaches both graduate and undergraduate courses in business analytics, information systems, and digital innovation, with an emphasis on real-world application and critical thinking.
He is a recipient of KFUPM’s Excellence in Teaching and Academic Advising awards and remains committed to developing future-ready graduates equipped to lead in a data-driven and digitally evolving business environment.
