Dr. Saleh Alwahaishi is a senior Information Systems faculty member at the KFUPM Business School, King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM), where he also serves as the Program Coordinator for Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence. With expertise in business analytics, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity, complemented by industry certifications from IBM, he brings more than two decades of academic and professional experience spanning teaching, research, program development, and industry engagement.

His research focuses on the application of artificial intelligence in healthcare and education, particularly in predictive analytics, learning analytics, and data-driven decision-making. He also investigates technology adoption, digital transformation, data privacy, and social media behavior, examining how emerging technologies influence organizational and societal outcomes.

Dr. Alwahaishi has published extensively in peer-reviewed international journals and conferences and has led several funded research projects. He teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in business analytics, information systems, and digital innovation, with an emphasis on real-world application, analytical thinking, and the effective use of emerging technologies.

In his role as Program Coordinator for Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence, he contributes to the academic development and continuous enhancement of the program, helping align its curriculum and learning experiences with advances in analytics and AI and with evolving industry needs.

He is a recipient of KFUPM’s Excellence in Teaching and Academic Advising awards and remains committed to developing future-ready graduates equipped to lead, innovate, and make informed decisions in an increasingly data-driven and AI-enabled business environment.
